Solar Incidence in the building’s site, envelope and interior.

For this project a environmental site analysis was made to understand how the solar radiation will affect the building’s envelope and how the neighbouring buildings will overshadowed the north and south façade. For the west façade 4 different shading options were analysed to understand which one will better protect the building space from glare.

Building's main façade is facing west. The excessive solar exposure of the west façade can produce; glare problems & solar heat gains during the summer that can produce uncomfortable conditions to the tenants.
